Healing looks differently for each individual and I, Zona Keo, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), particularly focus on healing survivors/victims of trauma including trauma from experiencing injustice.
I also specialize in healing healers. By healers, I am including, not only healthcare workers or working professionals, but also the folks who choose to be and/or end up being the “leader”, “representative”, or “go to” person in their family, friendship, or community network.
The continuous tough work to be a healer and overcome oppression is often not talked about or forgotten. It can be a lot of pressure to be a healer and frequently witnessing or experiencing injustice or other trauma(s) is very painful, exhausting, and can leave your soul feeling depleted.
If this resonates with you, I want to let you know that you are not alone. I am here with you. You deserve to get the right help.
Often we forget that we all need help sometimes. Whether you are a healer and/or a survivor/victim, there is strength in focusing on what we need to heal.
Individuals who do not identify as healers are also welcomed.
