Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a psychological treatment that was originally created to help people heal from emotional distress connected to traumatic memories. EMDR has been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as an evidence-based practice that provides faster results compared to other therapies and is effective in treating a variety of symptoms.
EMDR is also effective in overcoming common “blocks” or thinking and emotional habits that often makes us feel “stuck”. The
release of the tension held in the mind, body, spirit, and soul due to the “block” often allows people to have enjoyable and satisfying life experiences soon after one session.
